Celtic Insurance Company's Senior Management Team 

 

Richard Lynch, President and Chief Executive Officer, joined Celtic in 2011. He received his BS in Nursing from the University of Lowell and his MBA with a concentration in health care management from Boston University. Prior to joining Celtic, Mr. Lynch accumulated his experience by holding vice president positions in health care management, network management and operations with reputable managed care organizations. Mr. Lynch is a member of the President’s Advisory Council at the Whittier Street Health Center and serves on the development committee for the Kenneth B. Schwartz Center.

 

Lewis R. Marszalek, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, received his BS in accounting from Northern Illinois University and his MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He joined Celtic in September 2004 with over 20 years of financial management experience accumulated primarily in the software, healthcare technology and financial services industries. Mr. Marszalek is a CPA and began his professional career with the public accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. He is a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society.

 

Barbara Basham, Vice President, Human Resources, Office Services and Information Technology, joined Celtic in January of 1983. In her nearly 25 years with Celtic, she has served in a variety of management roles throughout the organization. In addition to her Human Resources expertise, she has extensive experience in Systems and Office Services. Ms. Basham has been managing the Human Resources/Office Services functions since October of 1998. The Information Technology responsibilities were added in January of 2006.
